GEST Systems Oy is a Finnish event tech company simplifying production tasks from personnel management to accreditation to pre-sales. We work with festivals, sports events, and trade fairs across Finland and reach over 2 million event goers yearly.
Our product significantly reduces the manual work of producers, helping them create memorable events while reducing operational stress. We are now hiring a Technical Founder to support our next stage of growth.
Your Role
As our Technical Founder, you’ll take ownership of GEST’s technology and help steer the company into its next chapter. You’ll work closely with the founding team to define strategy, build scalable systems, and lead our most important technical initiatives.
You will:
- Lead GEST’s technical development from planning to execution, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, reporting, and impact.
- Own the technical roadmap and architect the next evolution of the GEST platform.
- Build and scale our product, introducing new features, integrations, and performance improvements.
- Drive technical decision-making around stack, infrastructure, security, and product strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the founders to shape GEST’s long-term direction, vision, and market position.
- Grow and mentor our engineering culture as we expand the team.
Who You Are
You enjoy owning products end-to-end and want responsibility, impact, and experinece in company-building. You want to be part of something early and meaningful.
You likely have:
- Strong experience with full-stack development
- Experience using AI-tools
- Experience building scalable SaaS applications.
- Ability to lead technical projects independently.
- Interest or background in event tech, media, or creative operations (a plus but not required).
- Ambition to own equity and build a global company from Finland.
